THz Detection Electronics and Time Delay Controllers
The general setup used to detect the radiation from our THz receiver
chip is shown in the diagram below:

| We have a wide variety of low noise current amplifiers from both Ithaco (model
1211) and Stanford Research Systems (model
SR570) |
| Lock-in Amplifiers from Stanford Research Systems (model SR530 and model SR830). | |
| In addition we use DC power supplies to provide a bias voltage for our THz source
chips. |
| We use computer controlled delay lines with interferometric (0.1 m) precision to provide the delay of the optical pulses used to gate the THz experiment. These are from the Newport/Klinger Company. |
